The Passover Lamb

The Passover was instituted to help the children of Israel remember how God had brought them out of Egypt. It also gives us a glimpse into Calvary and Christ as the Lamb slain from the foundation of the world. We see the power of the blood of the lamb to save and protect, but also the freedom we enjoy because Jesus paid the price for us. Judgement is "passed over" us and victory is ours because of the blood! Israel had to celebrate the Passover once a year, but we enjoy and celebrate Jesus' forgiveness every day!
